The fear of the unknown keeps a lot of people in pain longer than they need to be. So let's remove it. Here's exactly how your first visit at Cascade unfolds — about 60 minutes, every step explained before it happens.
Step 1 — Paperwork, done before you arrive
We send your intake forms digitally so you're not filling out a clipboard in the waiting room. We verify your insurance ahead of time too, so there are no billing surprises.
Step 2 — The consultation
We sit down and actually listen. What hurts, when it started, what makes it better or worse, and what you want to get back to doing. This conversation shapes everything that follows.
Step 3 — The exam
A focused neurological, orthopedic, and postural screen with range-of-motion baselines. We measure so we can prove progress later — not just go by feel.
Step 4 — Imaging, only if indicated
Digital X-ray on-site if the exam calls for it. We don't image reflexively — only when it changes the plan.
Step 5 — Your care plan, in plain English
Before any adjustment, we walk you through what we found, what we recommend, how long it should take, and what it'll cost. You decide. Many patients receive their first adjustment the same day.
That's it — no mystery, no pressure. Ready to start? Request an appointment online and we'll confirm within two business hours.
